Insurance & Fees

With the ever changing healthcare industry, please contact your insurance company to confirm that Beansprout Pediatrics is an “in-network provider” for your particular plan. It is the parents’ responsibility to verify providers are in network for your particular insurance plan.

Many new parents are unsure how insurance works for their new baby. Most insurance plans will cover the baby automatically for the first 30 days under mom’s policy, but not all do. Contact your insurance company customer service department and your HR department about what’s required to add the baby to your policy. Beansprout will need you to do this prior to your first appointment with us.

Insurance & Fees

The following is the list of major insurances with which we participate. Our physicians also participate with many smaller and regional insurance carriers. Please verify participation prior to your visit. This will be updated from time to time as needed:

Humana Military Tricare

UHC Community Plan

Medi-Share Insurance Plans and Open Market Place Plans

Beansprout Pediatrics is in network with various medi-share plans that can be purchased in the open market. While these plans offer affordable insurance options for families, please be aware that many costs related to routine care (such as well child visits and vaccines) and behavioral health (ADD, ADHD) are often not covered by these plans. Please check the coverage of your plan prior to your next pre-scheduled appointment.

Payment Options

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and personal checks.

We encourage patients to keep a credit card on file to make the checkout process easier, faster, and more efficient. You will no longer receive statements from us, but you will continue to receive your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance carrier once your claim has been processed, detailing the charges and payments made on your behalf.

At check-in we will:

  • scan the credit card of your choice, including your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) card

After your insurance has paid their portion, we will:

  • notify you via email of the balance owed
  • charge the balance owed to your card on file
  • email a receipt for the charge

Your credit card information will always be fully protected by our off-site, card-processing partner Elavon, and not on our computers, as required by industry standards (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard – PCI-DSS).
