vaccines

We feel strongly that immunizations are the most important way parents and doctors can protect children against serious infectious diseases.

Beansprout Pediatrics follows the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control guidelines for childhood immunizations.  Infants and young children are particularly vulnerable to these preventable diseases and as physicians we have seen the devastating but preventable disabilities and complications which can result when children are unvaccinated.

We are well aware of the controversy which surrounds this topic but we are quite confident of the safety and benefits of recommended vaccines. All vaccines administered in our office are thimerosal-free. Our providers believe that there is no advantage to spreading out the vaccines, and that following the recommended schedule is the best standard of care.

Our office accepts patients that are immunized and/or working towards being fully immunized within the recommended intervals.
